Metal-smithing takes patience and skill

I recently delved into the world of metal smithing, I wanted to start creating some of my own foundations, bezels, rings, bracelets etc. Why? Because I've had SO many ideas running around upstairs and my metal-smithing collaborator has been very busy with their own business. During the past few weeks I've had a few success stories and MANY failures. Hats off to all of our expert smithers out there. It is definitely not easy and it takes a lot of skill, so when you pay $100 for that handmade sterling silver ring, just know it took a lot of human skill and patience.
